What is “Placenta”

Placenta is formed by Eutheria including such the mammals as human and plays a very important part in developing fetus.

It is a temporary discoid organ that connects the amnion covering fetus with the uterine wall. It gets formed organ during pregnancy and it is discharged with fetus during delivery.

Placenta is very helpful for a fertilized egg to grow fetus because that action has the every necessary nutrition for fetal development and the physiologically active substance. So it is the organ including basic energy of life.
